When people think about careers in the charity sector, fundraising and volunteering are often among the first things that come to mind. However, charities and community organisations need a wide range of skills to deliver their work, from administration and programme management to digital communications, leadership and community development.

For people looking to use their professional experience in an organisation with a social purpose, there are several opportunities currently advertised across Sheffield and Rotherham.

The organisation is also recruiting a Head of Skills, with a salary of £48,000 to £54,000. This senior role focuses on developing accessible learning and digital skills programmes, supporting the charity's wider strategy and strengthening its community network.

Both roles offer hybrid or home-working arrangements, with regular travel required, particularly to Sheffield and London.

Applications for both positions close on Sunday 25 October 2026.
