Who We Are

The Charity Hub began in Doncaster with a clear mission: to strengthen and support the third sector. Today, we’re expanding across South Yorkshire, providing charities and non-profit groups with the tools and resources they need to thrive. From networking events to training programs, we’re creating a lasting impact for communities and the organizations that serve them.

What We Do

Monthly Networking Events
Our regular networking events bring together industry experts, charity professionals, and volunteers to share best practices, discuss sector challenges, and collaborate. Since our launch, over 200 attendees and 450 organisations have joined our events, resulting in over £100,000 worth of resources, work, and support passed on to participants.

Training Programs
We’ve delivered impactful training to over 300 trainees through initiatives like the Multiply Scheme. Our sessions cater to a wide range of needs, from individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to charity staff and service users.

Our training programs include:

  • Life Skills and Socio-Emotional Development: Practical workshops that build confidence and enhance day-to-day abilities.

  • Specialized Third-Sector Courses: Modern tools like AI for grant writing and administrative efficiency.

  • Skill-Building for Service Users: From cooking classes to basic education, empowering individuals with essential skills.

Private Sector Collaboration
We act as a bridge between the private and third sectors, facilitating over 200 volunteer placements in the last year alone. Our structured volunteering opportunities and advice on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) ensure businesses can make a real difference in their communities.

Digital Outreach
Through podcasts, interviews, and digital content, we share insights, success stories, and updates from the third sector. This creates greater awareness, fosters community engagement, and amplifies the voices of charities making an impact.

Driving Positive Change

None of our achievements would be possible without the funding and support from initiatives like the Multiply Scheme. This backing has enabled us to grow, expand our services, and innovate new ways to support charities and their beneficiaries.

As we continue to evolve, The Charity Hub remains committed to creating meaningful connections, delivering high-quality training, and driving positive change across the sector. Together, we’re ensuring charities are ready to meet the challenges of today—and tomorrow.

Testimonials

My first experience at The Charity Hub last month was exceptionally useful. This supportive environment brings together like-minded individuals who understand the challenges we face, offering valuable support, and fostering collaborations.

Jo Keen
Skills Bank

I've been attending these meetings and witnessed a remarkable improvement in my network within the third sector. Through these connections, we've established a valuable partnership with the Children's University, enhancing our services and supporting another third sector organization.

Eleanor
Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice

I've found attending these events invaluable for connecting with other charities in the area. The welcoming and informative space has inspired collaboration ideas, which I hope to explore more in the future.
