September Charity Hub Networking Event Cancelled

It is with a heavy heart that we have made the difficult decision to cancel our September Charity Hub networking event, which was due to take place on Thursday 10 September at Doncaster Knights, Castle Park.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly. Unfortunately, we can no longer use the venue for this event, and rather than trying to rearrange everything at very short notice, we feel it is better to cancel the September session and communicate this clearly to everyone who was planning to attend.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Charity Hub networking events are built around bringing people together in a welcoming and useful space. We know people make time in busy diaries to attend, meet others, share what they do and build local connections, so we fully appreciate that this update will be disappointing.

Thank You to Everyone Who Booked

We want to thank everyone who booked a place, shared the event, or planned to join us this week.

The support for The Charity Hub events continues to mean a great deal, and while this particular event is no longer going ahead, our wider work to bring charities, CICs, community organisations, businesses, suppliers and local partners together will continue.

If you had booked a place for the September event, there is nothing further you need to do.

Looking Ahead to November

Although the September networking event has been cancelled, The Great British Charity Conference is still going ahead.

This will take place on Tuesday 10 November 2026 at Cast, Doncaster, bringing together charities, CICs, social enterprises, funders, businesses, public-sector organisations and sector leaders for a full day of insight, connection and practical conversation.

The day will focus on funding, social value, partnerships, growth and the wider conversations that matter to the third sector.

Thank You for Understanding

We are sorry that we cannot bring everyone together this Thursday as planned, but we are grateful for your understanding.

We will continue to share updates about future Charity Hub activity, and we look forward to welcoming people back together soon.

The third sector is evolving, and charities must keep pace with the latest technological advancements to remain effective. From securing sensitive data to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, IT is a core component of a modern charity. But with limited budgets and time constraints, staying up to date can feel overwhelming. That’s where BlueboxIT comes in.
