September 2nd at Bake Battle Roll Café: Two Inspiring Stories You Won’t Want to Miss

Our next Charity Hub networking event on Tuesday 2nd September at Bake Battle Roll Café is shaping up to be an incredible morning of inspiration and connection.

Women sit and converse around a table with coffee cups, in a conference setting. The mood is engaged and focused, with blurred attendees.

We’re thrilled to welcome Natalie from Dragonfly Cancer Trust, who will share moving stories of how her charity supports young cancer patients, helping them create treasured memories during the toughest times. This is your chance to discover practical ways your organisation can get involved and make a difference.

Also joining us is Neil Firbank, founder of the Recovery Games. His journey through addiction and recovery has inspired a national celebration of hope, resilience, and second chances. Since 2013, the Games have been a vibrant annual event drawing hundreds from across the UK.

As always, there will be plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow charities, share experiences, and find potential collaborators who can help you achieve your goals.

Tip: If you’re planning to attend multiple events, Charity Hub membership is just £10 a month or £100 for the year, compared to £15 per event (your first event is free if you’ve never been before). This means regular networking at a fraction of the cost.

The Charity Hub and BlueboxIT

The third sector is evolving, and charities must keep pace with the latest technological advancements to remain effective. From securing sensitive data to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, IT is a core component of a modern charity. But with limited budgets and time constraints, staying up to date can feel overwhelming. That’s where BlueboxIT comes in.
