Our August Charity Hub Networking Event Is on the Way

Following the success of our July networking event, we are already looking ahead to our next Charity Hub event in August.

The event will once again bring charities, CICs, community organisations, suppliers, businesses, and local partners together for a relaxed morning of connection, conversation, and shared learning.
We are still confirming the venue, and full details will be shared soon. For now, we wanted to let people know that plans are already underway and that we are looking forward to bringing the sector together again.
Building on the July Event
Our July event showed how valuable it can be when people from across the charity, community, business, and support sectors come together in one room.
The conversations that happen at these events can lead to new introductions, better local knowledge, referral opportunities, practical support, and future collaboration.
That is why we want to keep the momentum going.
Each Charity Hub networking event is designed to be welcoming, useful, and focused on real connection. Whether someone is part of a charity, CIC, social enterprise, community group, public sector team, business, or local support organisation, the aim is the same: to help good people find one another.
A Summer Networking Event
As this will be an August event, we are hoping to create a relaxed summer feel where people can meet, talk, and connect in a friendly setting.
Depending on the venue and weather, there may be opportunities for a more informal approach, but we will confirm the full setup once the venue is finalised.
What will not change is the purpose of the event.
The morning will still be about bringing people together, helping organisations understand more about each other’s work, and creating space for conversations that may lead to something useful.

We currently do not have the venue confirmed for the August event.
This is being worked on, and we will share the confirmed location as soon as possible.
Once the venue is confirmed, we will update the event page with full details, including timings, speakers, spotlight sessions, accessibility information where available, and any other important updates attendees need to know.
Who Is the Event For?
The Charity Hub networking events are open to anyone connected to good causes and community impact.
That includes charities, CICs, community groups, social enterprises, funders, suppliers, businesses, public sector partners, and individuals who want to support local good causes.
You do not need to have attended before. You do not need to know everyone in the room. You simply need to be open to conversation, collaboration, and learning more about the organisations working across the area.
Why Attend?
Networking can sometimes sound formal, but our events are designed to feel practical and welcoming.
They are a chance to explain what you do, hear from others, ask questions, share challenges, and find out where support or collaboration may be possible.
For smaller organisations, local groups, and busy teams, that kind of space can be especially valuable.
A conversation may help you find a new partner, understand a service, make a referral, or meet someone who can support your next step.
