Making a Day at The Great British Charity Conference Count

For anyone running a charity, CIC or community organisation, finding time to step away from the day-to-day can be difficult. There are projects to deliver, people to support, funding applications to complete and seemingly endless demands on the working week.

Bearded man with a COME HOME lanyard talks at a conference table while another man listens; woman stands behind.

So when an event asks you to set aside an entire day, it needs to offer something genuinely useful in return.

That is what we want The Great British Charity Conference, taking place on Tuesday 10 November 2026 at Cast, Doncaster, to achieve.

What Does Your Organisation Need Next?

Every organisation arrives at a different point in its journey. Some are looking for funding opportunities, others want to build stronger business relationships, while many are thinking about sustainability, growth or finding better ways to work with partners.

The conference will explore these challenges through speakers, practical workshops and conversations with people from across the third sector and the organisations supporting it.

The programme includes discussions around funding, social value, business partnerships and organisational growth, with opportunities to hear different perspectives and consider how those ideas might apply to your own work.

More Than Listening to Speakers

One of the important elements of the conference is the opportunity to get involved rather than simply listen.

The day includes two workshop sessions during the morning, with different workshops running simultaneously, giving attendees the chance to choose sessions relevant to their interests and needs.

There will also be opportunities throughout the day to meet other organisations, speak with people working across funding and business support, and explore potential partnerships.

Sometimes the most useful thing you take away from a conference is not something said on stage. It might be a conversation over lunch, an introduction during a break or discovering that another organisation has experience of exactly the challenge you are facing.

Bringing the Right People Together

The Great British Charity Conference is not exclusively for charities.

It is also for CICs, social enterprises, funders, businesses, trustees, public-sector teams and people whose work involves supporting good causes.

That mixture matters. Stronger communities depend on the relationships between the organisations delivering services and those able to fund, support and collaborate with them.

Bringing those people together creates opportunities for better understanding and more meaningful partnerships.
