Job Opportunity: Community and Patient Involvement and Engagement at European Lung Foundation

The European Lung Foundation is recruiting for a Community and Patient Involvement and Engagement role based in Sheffield.
The maternity-cover position will involve working with people living with lung conditions, carers, patient organisations and other stakeholders across Europe.
A key part of the role will be helping ensure patient voices are represented in research, education, advocacy and policy activity.
The successful candidate will support patient advisory groups and networks, help co-produce accessible information, coordinate engagement across projects and contribute to events and conferences.
The role will also involve helping turn medical and scientific information into patient-friendly content and gathering feedback to understand the impact of engagement activity.
Applicants should have experience within patient, community or public engagement, alongside an understanding of participatory or co-production approaches. Strong communication and project-management skills are also important.
Experience within health, research, long-term conditions or an international environment would be useful.
This is a full-time temporary maternity-cover role, with hybrid working available.
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per year
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
