About the role

The European Lung Foundation is recruiting a maternity-cover post focused on community and patient involvement. Based in Sheffield with hybrid working, the role will build relationships with people living with lung conditions, carers, patient organisations and other stakeholders across Europe, helping ensure patient voices are included in research, education, advocacy and policy activity.

Key responsibilities

Work includes supporting patient advisory groups and networks, co-producing accessible materials, coordinating engagement across projects, helping turn medical and scientific information into patient-friendly content, supporting events and conferences, and gathering feedback to evaluate impact.

About you

Applicants should have experience in patient, community or public engagement and in participatory or co-production approaches, alongside strong communication and project-management skills. Experience in health, research, long-term conditions or an international setting would be useful.
