The Workplace Charging Scheme helps eligible organisations meet the cost of buying and installing electric vehicle chargepoints at their sites. From April 2026 the scheme can cover up to 75% of eligible purchase and installation costs, capped at £500 per socket and up to 40 sockets across all sites for each applicant.

The scheme is open to eligible charities, businesses, public sector organisations and small accommodation businesses across the UK. Applicants need suitable off-road parking and must use an authorised installer.
