The SYCF Small Grants Programme supports small, developing and less well-resourced groups and organisations across South Yorkshire. Applicants do not need to be registered charities, but groups applying to the programme should normally have an annual income of no more than £10,000.

Most awards are one-off grants of up to £1,000 for projects, equipment or events that respond to community need. Priorities include education, health, relief of poverty and sickness, collaboration between local groups, and activities benefiting people experiencing discrimination or disadvantage.

Applications: The programme is rolling. SYCF holds review panels at the end of January, March, June, September and December, and advises applicants to submit a complete application around four weeks before the relevant review date.
