Innovate UK and the Department of Health and Social Care are investing up to £7 million in projects that improve the sustainability of medicines manufacturing. Individual eligible grant requests must be between £500,000 and £1 million.

Projects should focus on green chemistry, circularity, productivity or resource efficiency and demonstrate measurable improvements such as reduced waste, emissions, energy use or resource consumption. Charities, not-for-profit organisations, research organisations and public sector organisations can participate where they meet the detailed competition requirements.
