Support for Victims and Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse Fund 2027–2029

About the fund

The Home Office is offering £6.4 million over two years to strengthen specialist support for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse. Local, regional, cross-regional and national delivery can be considered where it addresses an evidenced gap and makes a clear contribution to the national portfolio.

Who can apply

Eligible applicants include appropriately governed community groups, registered charities, CICs, social enterprises, faith organisations and other non-governmental not-for-profit bodies working in England or Wales. Applicants need relevant experience, current safeguarding certification, sound governance and financial controls, and the ability to deliver throughout April 2027 to March 2029. Local authorities, individuals, profit-distributing companies and universities cannot lead applications.

Funding and conditions

No application may request more than 20% of the £3.2 million available in either year, giving a maximum of £1.28 million across the two-year period. One application is allowed per organisation, including consortium participation. Projects must complement rather than replace statutory or existing locally commissioned services and must show a national or cross-boundary rationale even where delivery is local.

Closing date

Friday 18 December 2026 at 4:00pm. Applicants must register on the Home Office Jaggaer portal and request competition access by noon on 14 December. The detailed timetable says the competition opens on 2 November, although the directory header gives 26 October as the opening date; applicants should follow the detailed application timetable.
