About the fund

The National Lottery Community Fund provides £300 to £20,000 for community-led environmental projects in England. Projects must help people connect with and care for nature locally or make a positive difference to the environment, and can include new or existing activities and one-off events with a clear environmental benefit.

Who can apply

The programme uses the Awards for All England eligibility rules, including constituted community groups, charities, CIOs, eligible not-for-profit companies and CICs. An organisation cannot apply if it already holds a current Awards for All grant, and should use the general Awards for All programme for projects without an environmental focus.

Applications

The programme is open to applications and no closing date is published. Decisions are normally expected within 16 weeks.
