Heritage Revival Fund
About the fund
The Heritage Revival Fund, delivered through the Architectural Heritage Fund, helps community organisations bring neglected historic buildings back into valuable local use. It can support early feasibility and viability work, building surveys, business planning, conservation, repairs and capital works. Capital grants can reach £500,000, subject to programme and project-stage rules.
Who can apply
Eligible applicants include CIOs, charitable companies, non-profit companies limited by guarantee, certain CICs, community benefit societies and other qualifying community-led bodies in England. The programme focuses particularly on town-centre heritage buildings and projects creating meaningful community benefit.
Dates and application
The government programme listing runs until 31 March 2030, but individual grant strands and assessments may follow their own availability and deadlines. Check the Architectural Heritage Fund funding finder and eligibility information before applying.
