The Department for Culture, Media and Sport is offering up to £997,000 to a single organisation or consortium to establish and manage a national Community of Practice for place-based giving initiatives across England. Delivery will run from November 2026 to March 2029.

The programme is aimed at organisations with significant experience in charitable giving, place-based philanthropy, community development, social investment or the wider voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. The successful delivery partner will convene organisations, provide capacity-building support including onward grants, and generate learning to strengthen local giving ecosystems.
