About the role

Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity is looking for a Grants Manager to lead the delivery and development of its charitable grants and research funding programmes. The post will manage the full grant lifecycle, from applications and assessment through to award management, monitoring, reporting and impact evaluation.

Key responsibilities

The role includes coordinating review panels and decision-making processes, strengthening systems and governance, monitoring funded projects and working with NHS colleagues, researchers, grant holders and external partners. The Grants Manager will also help communicate the impact of charitable investment and provide day-to-day leadership to the Grants & Research Officer.

About you

Applicants should bring experience of grants, funding programmes or complex project management, strong organisational skills and confidence working with evidence, reporting and a range of stakeholders. Experience in a charity, healthcare, NHS, academic or research environment would be useful but is not essential.
